Surgery in India
Hi,
I had my angioplasty procedure in Bangalore two weeks ago and it’s worked really well for me. Really well, as in, I have got vision back in my right eye….
I am really glad I had the procedure. I am really glad I connected up with Ramesh from Aarex India – he did a great job of picking the right hospital, fantastic doctors ( Dr Rehan and Dr Gopi), a very comfortable recuperation package. From the time we began corresponding with Aarex, things began to zip ahead. They had clear and comprehensive responses to all our questions and we had everything tied up in a matter of days. And everything – appointments, logistics, hospital costs, medical paperwork - happened exactly as they said they would. They were very transparent about everything and kept every promise and commitment they made
We felt very secure and safe right through the trip, whether it was at the hospital, at the hotel or outside shopping and sightseeing. It helps that practically everybody speaks English.
I was in need of a new hip in a hurry. We had no insurance for private treatment and the waiting list for public surgery was up to 2/3 years. I was in agony and couldn't wait. So I searched the internet, gathering as much information as I could regarding the status of hospitals, doctors' credentials, speed of surgery and costs involved. I looked at many sites across Asia (we live in Australia), but were uneasy till we checked out the India site and hence Aarex.. It all seemed too good to be true. Mr.P R Ramesh came across as honest, perceptive to our concerns and feelings; he put no pressure on us and allayed our anxieties.
We booked our flights, were met at Mumbai airport and taken straight to our suite at Wockhardt Hospital which is
Previous to my hip surgery I elected to have a lot of dental work done which look fantastic and my wife also took advantage of the situation and had a cataract lens replacement operation (and doesn't need her glasses), and also had extensive dental work - bridges, crowns in between her visits to the local shopping mall.
Mr. P R Ramesh from Aarex Medical Services kept in constant touch with us and responded to all our enquiries and requests whilst in hospital and in our hotel which was conveniently situated opposite the hospital for follow up checks.
We are extremely glad we proceeded with our plan and very happy with the outcome and recommend anyone needing any procedure to 'go for it'. I would be happy to answer any questions via email if it helps. joe_arnaud@hotmail.com We did this and it did reassure us.

Hi Ramesh,
I am doing very well. I continue to work with my physiotherapist on my right foot to allow me to walk with better movement. Other than my right foot everything else has improved to where I was prior to the attacks of MS. I truly feel like MS is no longer a part of my life, this is a good feeling.
As we last spoke I have had ongoing calls from people regarding my experience in India – I share with them your contact information so they know who to contact if they so decide.
We did go on a holiday when you called. It was an enjoyable time and I did a great deal of walking. Last Friday night I danced all evening, this was my first time in a couple of years!
Dear Ramesh,
I have no words to thank you for all that Dr Shabbar and you did for me. I am truly happy that cancer surgery as complex as mine was done so well that I am back at work. It was a pleasure to meet you again in Lagos. God bless you.
Dear brother Ramesh,
We are deeply gateful to you for the wonderful support that you gave Febronia and me during our long stay in Mangalore. The treatment was indeed difficult but it was made so much easier by the understanding and kindness of the doctors, nurses…everybody in fact. It also helped that we found a caring priest at the church nearby. India has been great for us. Thank you – you will always be part of our family. Asante sana!
